Striper fishing 5/9
Report posted by Capt. Fran Verdi of the Cousins on 5/09/09

5/9/09
Had Cousins out today with Rob Fraley Party. Set up in the graveling point are and had the incoming tide to work with for about three hours. First stop had the lines in for about 30 minutes and the line went down and it was the first striper of the day it was land and was 32 inches. Got the line back out and started the chum bucket. Tide went slack and it was a double header with Rob getting his first keeper striper ever. The guy they called tiny got the other one but the fish was tiny at 10 inches and Tiny is not so tiny at all. Rob’s fish was 31 inches. The group was great to have on the boat with alot of laughs and alot of busting chops. Tide turned and the wind blow and the bit shut down. Finished the day with 2 keepers and one released. I hope that they send me the pic of Tiny and his tiny fish.
